who/what we’re funding:

our strategy:

  • We’re doing a lot of listening & a lot of connecting with so many different kinds of experts in the anti-trafficking space: survivors, police, government agents & elected officials, policy advocates, service providers, donors, etc. We’re asking them what’s working & what’s not. Who’s doing the best work? Where are the gaps? What do you need? What do you wish existed? Then, we collaborate to develop new solutions across the pillars of policy, prevention, exit, & recovery.

  • An amazing amount of progress has been made already as we connect the people we are meeting. Often, they are able to resource each other in immediate & tangible ways. When gaps remain, we create more ways to connect people, processes, & funding through sweepstakes & fun events.

  • We will watch how our interventions play out to see what kinds of impacts they make (the intended & unintended) so we can continually improve our strategy.

  • We know this is heavy & difficult work. This means we have to intentionally hold ourselves to having a good time, too. A key part of our strategy is to create opportunities for people (including ourselves) to engage with this work in ways that feel do-able.
